Rowan joined Jacob Associates as an associate in 2013, after completing his articles with the firm and being called to the bar in Ontario. His focus is on business law, real estate law and litigation.
Rowan received his J.D. from the University of Victoria in 2013. While in law school, Rowan acted as the co-coordinator of Fernwood Legal Information Clinic, was a member of the 2012 Fox Cup Moot team, and was involved in a variety of extracurricular programs and sports teams. In 2011, he spent a semester at Utrecht University, where he studied European Union law.
Outside of the office, Rowan likes to spend his time with sports and fitness. He coached fencing for many years in Canada, in addition to fencing competitively on a national level. Rowan is also a lover of the arts, particularly theatre, film, and film history.
