what happens next?
An initial consultation can last up to 1.5 hours and consists of the following:
- Some background research by us
- A personal consultation in which we discuss the factual background and assess how best to solve your legal issue
- A written summary of advice given, sent to you as soon as possible.
This procedure will give you a preliminary assessment of your problem with a recommended course of action. It is not an exhaustive analysis, but you will receive a strategic recommendation.
An initial consultation can take place in person at our office, virtually by video conference, or in form of a telephone call. We will make an appointment with you for your chosen option.
what does an initial consultation cost?
Based on the German Lawyers‘ Fees Tariff (Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz- RVG), we cannot provide free legal advice.
Our fee for an initial consultation is:
– EUR 321,30 for residents of Germany or the EU
(EUR 250 for the consultation plus EUR 20 for disbursements plus 19% VAT)
– EUR 270 if you live outside of the EU
(EUR 250 for the consultation plus EUR 20 for disbursements )
The fee must be paid in advance.
If you have legal insurance, it may be possible to claim a refund of these costs.
