COOPERATION PARTNERS IN CANADA AND GERMANY

Cross-border cases are complex and may require local expertise in various Canadian provinces or various German states. We maintain close relationships with a variety of law firms and accounting firms with offices in strategic locations both in Canada and Germany to offer you the support and contacts necessary to solve your legal and tax problems. Either we will handle your work directly or coordinate the legal and tax services you need to set up or sell your business, purchase and sell real property, launch a legal claim before the appropriate courts, or probate an estate.

OUR LEGAL BASE

Our most important and long-standing partner is the Toronto law firm Goldman Sloan Nash & Haber LLP (GSNH) which is our base in Ontario. Located in central Toronto, GSNH is a full-service law firm.

Founded in 1976, GSNH has a renowned group of legal professionals with decades of experience in corporate/commercial law, real estate transactions, litigation, and ADR as well as a range of other legal specialties. They provide all necessary back up in all major transactions as Sylvia Jacob’s professional home in Canada.

In Ontario, we also have long-standing relationships with several regional and province-wide accounting firms which assist us in tax matters ranging from personal and corporate income tax filings, capital gains reporting, UHTA-filings, and estate returns.

OUR LEGAL AND TAX NETWORK

Aside from Ontario, we cooperate with law and accounting firms in jurisdictions ranging from Nova Scotia in Eastern Canada to Québec, and Alberta to British Columbia in Western Canada, sometimes in small towns and sometimes in the major city centres of the province or territory relevant to our client matters. In Germany, we cooperate with local law firms and notaries offices as well as accounting firms all over the country, always with a focus on solving our clients’ legal and tax issues in the place they arise.
